I am an intern and a Medical Biology student at the University of Gdańsk, specializing in Neurobiology. Personally, I am most fascinated by Neurophysiology, as it sheds a light on the source of basic cognitive processes in the human brain, such as memory, or consciousness. My special interest, is physiology of sleep, the sleep phases and the phenomenon of dreaming, as well as consolidation of memory during sleep. I am looking for an opportunity to develop my knowledge in this field, focusing on the clinical use of information, potentially involving treatment of neurodegenerative diseases or cognitive disorders related to memory.
